Our China and Hong Kong tax specialists provide the full range of services required for a wide variety of local and international companies which operate in the Mainland and Hong Kong. Hong Kong, as a Special Administrative Region of China, is governed by separate tax laws from the Mainland. Our experts are able to advise on taxes / transfer pricing regulations for both jurisdictions.

We are now seeking the right candidate to join our Tax and transfer pricing team. This is a managerial position for those who aspire to further their career as a professional tax advisor in transfer pricing advisory and compliance.

What you can expect

• Oversee comprehensive research on HK, PRC, and international tax issues, tax laws, and transfer pricing regulations and guidelines
• Manage research and strategic analysis across various industries, companies, and business activities.
• Manage and lead on a diverse wide range of projects and gain exposure from different industries and sectors
• Drive high-level tax and transfer pricing consulting for M&A, IPOs, and complex ad hoc projects
• Oversee the execution of economic and benchmarking analyses, guide junior team members in data gathering
• Review, refine, and deliver high-quality transfer pricing and tax advisory reports for clients and key stakeholders
• Manage and oversee the end-to-end execution of tax and transfer pricing compliance assignments, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to all regulatory standards and applicable guidelines
• Support business development including preparation of proposals, tenders, presentations for seminars / webinars, etc.

Who we are looking for

• A degree holder in Legal / Finance/ Accounting or related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance and consultancy work in transfer pricing
• Experience in financial services will be an advantage
• Member of recognised professional legal / accounting qualifications will be an advantage
• A team player who can handle assignments independently and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical, management and organisation skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)

*Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager.
